Selkirk Steeler website.
Coaches
like his approach to the game and his effort.
Loewen, his current coach says he’s a
“battler”, working hard at both ends. Plays a physical game.
“Has a nose for the net” at the right times., a
gift, something you just can’t teach, says
Loewen.
Definitely has university potential.
Petrash, Steeler manager, comments on his
size and strength saying these were the reasons the team traded for him along
with his puck skills and good view of the ice.
Al Hare say he plays with an edge, he’s gritty, but a smart player who
can put the puck in the net. Scored well
for us in western Canadian Jr. B’s he said last year when we picked him up. 5pts in 6 games. Pollock
says he has a nose for the puck, great hands for a big guy, never scared of
traffic. Sees the ice well. Skating keeps improving.
