Dear Women’s Volleyball Coach;

I am interested in attending your university in the fall of 2006 and playing on your team. I have included my profile below which provides you information on my background. I can assure you that you will find me extremely coachable, and that just given the opportunity to continue to practice and compete on a year round basis in a quality program, I can be a vital part of your team's success almost immediately. I am hoping that my educational and sports achievements and abilities will allow me to receive financial assistance to help me obtain my university education. I look forward to your phone call, email or letter and hearing more specifics about the opportunities with your volleyball or other sports team and university. Coaches Quotes:

Coach Unchulenko, who played 5 years at Montana State herself, says Katie is a top all around player. Not only a strong powerful hitter, but excellent passer with good hand-eye coordination and very good digger who has won awards at camps, etc for her defensive work. She compensates very well for her height as a hitter, she said. “Good line shot, hard cross court and busts her block well.”… “Dedicated to the ‘nth degree..Mentally tough…Student of the game” who will get progressively better.” Coaches Katie in club and high school.

Additional Information:

Her community involvement includes cancer fundraising, blood donor work, church and elementary school volunteering. She is an accomplished piano performer and instructor. She serves and works as a lifeguard and certified water safety instructor in the summer months and another year round part time job.

Solid at a number of sports, she could also compete at the university level in softball, track & field and ice hockey. Her talent, ability to diversify, her commitment and intellect make her an excellent prospect.
