TORONTO 2, DETROIT 1 : Towers keeps Tigers’ bats quiet (Detroit Free Press)

TORONTO — John McDonald drove in the winning run with a seventh-inning single, Josh Towers recovered from a shaky out with seven-plus strong innings and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Tigers, 2-1, today.
