Legislator Jim Bunning said in his statement before the House Committee on March 17, 2005 that in his experience players didn't hit more home runs in their late 30's than they did in their late 20's. Performance enhancing drugs has severely tainted the sport and the heroes of the present, and past decade. Will professional baseball get a grip on the use of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs? Will professional sports and professional athletes everywhere send the right message to youth athletes? Will parents, coaches and doctors be able to prevent more suicides among youth?
