I’m sorry but I quit listening to the game near the end. Even Bob Irving is getting Mike Quinn’s name wrong calling him Mike Craig. There were positives. I don’t remember many. I wasn’t there and I don’t want to critique something that I’m relying on third parties to describe to me. Troy hit 3, one when we stalled in the red zone early on when a TD would have helped a lot.
We are going to get to know the Alouettes better each time so our chances of winning one of two in the regular season against them are pretty good. Although, I guess the same could be said for Montreal knowing us too well.
Then I’m up this am and hear that Dave Dickenson threw for 4 touchdown passes last night in destroying Calgary.
Some qb’s are taking control of their games, even in the friendly matches. Unfortunately we don’t have that going for us yet. Persistence and patience, I tell myself. This is just starting. It may not be the miracle season we wanted. However, I did see my ball team, the Braves go from last to first in ‘91 so I know it can be done.
