1st victory for 2006. Something to build on!

Here are the
Bomber stats for the Toronto game. Individual stats. Next game Saturday, July 1 against Edmonton. Here are the
Edmonton individual stats from their last game against Calgary which they won in a low scoring game as well.  I continue to question why we don’t have more a wider distribution of passes received by our potential receivers. Very little change from the Montreal game, except McCord gets 5 and Stegal gets 4. The rest get 1 or 2. Edmonton spreads their passing among 8 players, with Tucker getting 8 himself.

Maybe we can win with a ball control offence and short quick passes, but then we need to get two effective backs, either in tandem or alternating. The Bomber defence has jelled quickly and could be the key to a win again if we can get at least a solid offensive performance at the same time. Ray will not be as easily controlled as Wynn was, so a good test for the Greg Marshall coached defence. Greg..”The Rainmaker”, as the locals are already calling him.
On CBC in Canada, and Comcast West live in the U.S. for satellite viewers on Saturday night.   Edmonton favoured by 2 points at Bowmans.com

IM’s Great Touchdown Contest

Okay, perhaps not so great, but if Paris Hilton can put her dog in a bikini, I can call my contest great.

Anyway, rules are simple.

1) Pick a player, any player…. well, any player not selected by someone else, first come, first serve. Must be selected before the first game of that week commences.

2) If that player catches/runs/returns the most TD’s in that weekends game, you win 5000 of my beers (limited time only, after all, quantities are limited Wink )

3) If their is a tie and/or an unselected player scores the most, it’s a push, and those beers will be added to the next weeks award.

Lets see how this goes

Ticket redemption policy ??

mmmmm

Weird

last year I would take in tickets to the box office that I wasnÂ’t going to use, and the people at gate 7 sky dome ticketmaster sent me away saying you cant redeem unused tickets until after the game is completed ???

I always found that strange as I figured they could open up good seats for sale that would other wise be empty?

So, this year I take my unused tickets from the home opener to the same gate 7 window and the lady says you must redeem them prior to the game day???

What gives, has the policy changed?

Its always been unused tickets were good for the last two games if redeemed at gate 7 or though the argos via Can Post.

Problem was I guess it flooded the scalpers with cheap freeby tickets. Virtually killing any walk up traffic.

I always found it strange as I already had tickets for the last two games, being a season ticket holder so why would I need more ??? The new policy as I see it actually makes sense. If IÂ’m traveling and know I canÂ’t make the game I can now take them in for redemption prior to the game and trade them in for another game (last two or any??)

This way the redeemed ticks can be resold and the freebys arenÂ’t as plentiful for the final two games.

Whats the policy in your city ?
