What about his players? Do they not also exhibit impatience? Offsides, illegal procedures, roughing the gosh-darned passer, too many clowns on the field, what about all of this impatience???? Marshall is in denial. His hand picked players are NOT good enough and it is NOT a matter of patience on behalf of everybody. Everybody except his players. 3 years of penalties after penalties after penalties. Who’s impatient???? Fans have a right to be impatient. Even Bob’s ran out and Marshall still doesn’t get it. Marshall is too sentimental for the cut throat business of football. He demonstrated that with he got choked up when thinking and talking about missing these guys. Miss them for what? For dropping passes, blown assignments, penalties missed crucial field goals and overall general incompetency???? I wouldn’t miss them. I’d tell them all right up front what bunch of hopeless causes they are. Besides you know the old adage about nice guys and football team……….Couldn’t be truer in professional sports. Last year the team finished last and yesterday, Greg was served a reminder of the consequences facing nice guys. In sports, they too finish last…even if it comes a day late and a dollar short.
