DA had forever to throw the ball tonight. I thought this O-line was supposed to be the worst in the league? They weren’t just ripping holes for Avery, they were ripping holes for Johnson and the other Williams too, especially Costa and Davis on the right side. How is this possible? Did they suddenly become an adequate O-line?
Does anyone suppose it has something to do with having a coherent game plan put together by a competent OC? Well I sure as hell do. We saw things on offence we haven’t seen all year. When was the last time we saw a Y-formation? When was the last time we saw screen passes over the middle? When was the last time we didn’t see a stupid 3-yard sideline pass on 2nd and 10? When was the last time we saw passes to all parts of the field?
This offence could end up surprising a lot of people this year.
I don’t know how, but somehow that felt worse than the shutout loss 2 weeks ago. Painful, painful, painful.
It was very ugly in the stands. A *lot* of people were leaving, vowing not to renew tickets, etc. The woman next to me said she wasn’t coming back until they looked better.
Ugh. It was like a funeral walking out of the game tonight.
Everyone and their brother seems to be calling for Paopao and/or Lancaster’s head. I don’t know what the hell is going on. Maas can’t be as bad as it looked tonight. It must be something else…
Spencer…
for some reason it shows Michael Bishop with the Argos and scoring a TD…
