A week of golf, photos and fans…

golfball.jpgThis week started with our annual golf tournament. We had ideal conditions on the course, the sun was shining and there was a cool breeze and a positive vibration.

aug06resize514.jpgaug06resize503.jpgThe tournament is designed for us to rub elbows with our corporate sponsors. Each player is paired up with a different company for the day. At each hole there is some sort of prize to win or a type of beverage to consume.

aug06resize530.jpgI’m not a big golfer, so I had plenty of time to cruise around the course and take photos, as well as test out what each hole had to offer.

aug06resize494.jpgaug06resize478.jpgNeedless to say it’s a lot of fun. It gives the guys a chance to let loose and have a good time enjoying company outside of Bomberland.

teampicresize004.jpgteampicresize006.jpgMid-week,we had team pictures. The goal for most of us is to take the picture and go home as soon as possible.

teampicresize017.jpgImagine trying to fit 60 football players into the snug seating at Canad Inns Stadium, and then asking them to sit still for 30 minutes. Add hot jerserys and direct sunlight to the mix, and you’ve got problems.

fancampresize014.jpgAt the end of this week, we held the Roger’s Fan Camp. Roger’s Wireless held a contest in which people e-mailed a response to why they were the biggest Bomber fan. The winners were asked to attend the camp, which entailed a tour of the facilities, a short practice and a dinner.

fancampresize006.jpgMatt Sheridan was having a lot of fun with the bull horn.

fancampresize058.jpgJust want to say thanks to Roger’s for having us help out, and a special thanks to all the fan camp winners. You guys were great sports. Hope you had fun.

We’ll see you in Regina for the Labour Day Classic.
