WHAT HAPPENED?
That title is perfect, because I’m sure a lot of you are asking that same question.
Well I tell you what happen. They scored more points than we did, and when we decided to finally get serious time expired. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I have to laugh to keep from crying sometimes. To quote the great poet Dave Ritchie: “I don’t know what happened, but when it happened, it happened when it didn’t, meaning when it happened, I didn’t know”. In other words, we got our butts kicked. They pretty much took hold of the game in the second quarter and refused to relinquish that hold. That’s about it in a nutshell.I know you are saying, elaborate.
On what? Our offense, defense, and special teams really didn’t do much to help us win. Now in every game this year, no matter what the outcome has been, I’ve been able to find something positive.But after searching and seeking and talking to Dr. Phil, we decided that we better wait until next game, because we are both sure some positives will come out of that. I hate to guarantee a victory, so I won’t.
I would love to say that, but the last time I guaranteed a victory all I did was added fuel to the fire. But I will guarantee that we will play with more emotion and intensity than this past game. See y’all at the BANJO BOWL.
