Hope in Hamilton
Our win against the Ti-Cats wasn’t pretty, but when you’re in Hamilton, what is?
A win is a win and it was a great way to come back into regular season play after our week off.
The trip was short and sweet. We left early Saturday morning, and because it was a day game, we left Sunday night.
There wasn’t much time for sightseeing, much less any sights to see. We flew in, took care of business, and got out.
We got back to the ‘Peg happy about the victory and as always it was evident around Bomberland. Here’s a shot of Scott Regmbald with nothing on but a Danny’s Wholehog apron.
Later in the week Coach Marshall had a hilarious joke played on him bye the team.
An old picture of Coach Marshall has been floating around the locker room. It was a photo of his feature in a calendar during his playing days in the 80s. Notice his strong resemblence to Magnum P.I.
Matt Sheridan had the shirts made with his “studly” photo on the front. We all put the shirts on under our regular gear and when coach came into meetings we took of a layer showing the shirts. He was a great sport and the proceeds from the shirt sales are going to a local food bank.
The calendar also featured a George Michael-like photo of TSN commentator Matt Dunigan.
We’ve have Calgary at home this week. It going to be our first winter game at home, so bundle up and cheer loud.
