DON’T WASTE THIS VICTORY
OK Bombers, you guys finally went out and played a decent game.
But the question remains, can you guys follow it up with a victory against the top team in the league, and by doing so secure a home playoff game for all of us faithful Bomber fans?
Now this game displayed that when you guys execute your game plan, don’t turn the ball over (ok one turnover)… play solid defence, and control the time of possession, you are capable of not only playing with anyone, but beating them.
Offensively I felt the Bombers played two and a half quarters of great football.
Scoring the touchdown in the second quarter, I felt propelled them into halftime with some momentum, and that momentum was carried throughout the rest of the game.
Now it bother me that you guys were not able to put up any points early in the game with the excellent field position the defence and special teams were able to create.
It didn’t hurt you guys this game, but I would advise you guys in the future to take advantage of those opportunities.
Defensively, what can I say? These guys showed why they are the best defense in the CFL. Holding who most consider the top offence in the league, to 13 points shows what these guys are capable of.
I guess we can finally stop criticizing Kevin Glenn, because he is showing us he is capable of being a top tier quarterback in this league.
And finally for that little man that plays running back, you may be tripolar (not bipolar) and say some outrageous things, but the moment you step on that field you make us hard working citizens of Winnipeg happy that we paid to watch you play.
