Argos acquire Patrick Johnson from Eskimos
The Toronto Argonauts added some depth at receiver on Wednesday, getting former NFL player Patrick Johnson from the Edmonton Eskimos in exchange for a 2008 second-round draft choice.

Guess who’s back? It’s your boy Milt Stegall, the Touchdown Beagle, Magic Milt, the Turtle Man, Chocolate Milt, and finally for my French-speaking friends, Quatre-vingt-cinq.
Not only back on the football field, but back to being THE KING PIN OF THE INK PEN.
I know everyone is expecting a very fruitful and exciting football season.
Through this blog, I will offer my insights into not only what is going on on the field, and in the locker room, but sometimes I will attempt to dig deep (and cry if I have to) and investigate happenings of not just myself, but also other players’ lives off the field.
We are now going through the interview phase of our job, because that’s what training camp is. Now this interview can be anywhere from one day to four weeks.
But the difference between this occupation and any other is the fact that this interview is a yearly occurrence, and every year the powers that be try to replace you with someone who is younger, faster, smarter, or just simply plain better than you.
This year the Bombers are expected to do big things. With the main core of players returning from last year, some great additions, the sprinkling of some talented rookies, and finally for the first time in a while, the exact same systems on offence and defence, big things should be happening.
So with that in place here we go. I’m really looking forward to this year, and I’ll be talking to you soon
