Turning for home in Steel Country (GolfWeek)

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – My hometown is as rusty as the Rust Belt gets. “Nuclear Castle,” as my friend, Rick Reiber, calls it, has seen better days. Gone are Mesta Machine and Johnson Bronze.

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Scotts Co. will pay a $500,000 fine over allegations that it failed to comply with U.S. rules for field-testing a genetically engineered variety of grass used on lawns, athletic fields and golf courses, the U.S. Agriculture Department said on Monday.
