Golfers shouldn’t take lightning lightly (The Joplin Globe)

Lightning likes golf courses. And golfers standing in the middle of fairways or huddled under trees make a tempting target. I don’t know how many golfers die each year because they didn’t pay attention to the storm clouds roiling in or the distant thunder. But the number is too many.
