Township shelves plan for golf links (Morris Ledger)

A proposed youth and senior citizens golf course in Rockaway Township will not be created, officials said yesterday. High costs and a lack of partners doomed a plan to reopen the Green Pond Golf Course, said disappointed Rockaway Township Mayor Louis Sceusi.
