Nanotubes could carry a health risk similar to that of asbestos, researchers say (International Herald Tribune)

But in their final form, as one of the wonder materials of the nanotechnology used in products like tennis rackets, nanotube fibers appear to pose little direct risk to consumers, researchers reported.
