Garrisons Lake golf course set to tee of in September (Smyrna Clayton Sun Times)

Sprinklers water one of the greens at the Garrisons Lake golf course, which is set to reopen in early September. At one point, plans were in place to turn the course into a housing development, but the state intervened and purchased the course for $3.4 million in 2004.
