Ex-Stamps’ field dream now a reality (Calgary Sun)

We keep telling you something big is happening on the minor football scene in Calgary, and one day it’s going to be announced officially, but I’m jumping the gun because I’m pumped.

    It’s wonderful when a plan comes together. Just ask Jon Duppler. The former Larkin golfing standout reaped the rewards of some hard work last Monday, tying for the championship of the Balmoral Woods Country Club Classic — an event that’s part of the Illinois PGA schedule. Duppler and Biltmore head professional Doug Bauman each shot 4-under-par 68 to claim top honors in the 93-player field.
