Golf’s newest version of power (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

Shigeki Maruyama was practicing on the range Monday at the Brown Deer Park Golf Course when the distinctive thwack of club face meeting golf ball at a very high rate of speed made him turn around.

    DESLOGE — The Desloge Board of Aldermen will meet tonight to discuss an ordinance pertaining to the operation of golf carts and four-wheeled utility vehicles on city streets. Currently the city does not allow the use of such vehicle on city streets. However, due to high fuel prices the board is considering replacing the ordinance to allow them with certain restrictions.
