Motoring: The never-ending Corolla saga (BusinessWorld Online)

THE WORLD BANK says that by 2012, the global middle class will grow to 1.2 billion from today’s 400 million. So, who are these people? They are exposed to international travel, international education, earn the 2012 equivalent of $4,000 to $17,000 per month, buy cars and many other products, and won’t care where they are created.
