Philo cracking down on golf carts (The Champaign News-Gazette)

PHILO — Village officials want to get the word out to the public that it’s illegal to operate golf carts on the town’s streets. The village board Wednesday directed Deputy Clerk Susan Helmink to explain the state law regarding golf carts in the village’s next newsletter. The board also decided to ask the Champaign County sheriff’s office to step up its enforcement.
