Mayodan completes proposed ordinance for golf carts (Danville Register & Bee)

The Mayodan Town Council approved the first draft of an ordinance Monday outlining regulations for golf cart use within town limits, bringing residents one step closer to leaving their cars parked for in-town errands.

    DESLOGE — Golf carts and other 4-wheeled utility vehicles will not be allowed on city streets. After discussing it for two months, the Desloge Board of Aldermen voted against the ordinance Monday that would have allowed the vehicles. The vote was three to two, with Alderman Chris Gremminger absent.
