Harmac woes a sign of the times (Nanaimo Daily News)

The courtroom drama surrounding the Pope & Talbot receivership has shown Nanaimo’s Harmac pulp mill to be worth more to golf course developers than to the province’s once-thriving forest economy, something industry observers say is a shocking wake-up call on the state of the province’s top industry.
