Eco-friendly Epoch growing in popularity (The Wilmington Star-News)

About eight years ago, B.J. Maloy walked into the pro shop at his New England golf club and purchased a bag of 3-inch wooden tees.The price had doubled, from 50 cents to $1, which didn’t seem right to Maloy since his new, oversized driver snapped the tees on nearly every swing.
