Louisville Golf Club Co. finds its niche with wood (Louisville Courier-Journal)

When the Ryder Cup tees off Sept. 16, viewers probably won’t see any of the Louisville Golf Club Co.’s persimmon woods in play. But the company will be a part of the PGA event at Valhalla Golf Club — and a piece of Valhalla will be part of a commemorative line of clubs offered there for sale.
