Play-by-play of a winning sales call (Columbus Ledger-Enquirer)

T he date was June 15, 2008. It was the final shot, on the final hole, of the final round of the U.S. Open at San Diego’s Torrey Pines Golf Course. Tiger Woods had one shot — one putt — to make it to a playoff round with Rocco Mediate. As millions watched, Tiger made that shot and subsequently went on to win the U.S. Open in a playoff round the following day.
