Bravis blazing trail as BEA ‘golf team’ (Centre Daily Times)

WINGATE — When the Bald Eagle Area golf team plays an event there is no trouble getting all the equipment in a Volkswagen. And when a team captain was selected, the voting was quick and simple. You may also have noticed when the CDT ran previews for the Centre County golf teams, the Eagles were missing.

    Tommy Bolt CHEROKEE VILLAGE, Ark. (AP) - Tommy Bolt, the 1958 U.S. Open champion who had one of golf’s sweetest swings and most explosive tempers, died Saturday. He was 92.
