City allocates $143K to subsidize golf course (La Junta Tribune-Democrat)

In 1948, the city of La Junta acquired a golf course designed by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Fifty years later, the golf course “is doing pretty good,” according to Linda Chiaramonte, owner of Chiaramonte’s Golf and Grill, which is located on the La Junta Golf Course.
