Golf tournament raises funds for women’s shelter (The Gainesville Times)

This year’s Medical Center Open raised well in excess of the $140,000 goal set for the fundraiser.

    There may be fewer members signing up at Cape municipal golf courses, as reported by veteran reporter Susan Milton of the Cape Cod Times , but so far at least, it hasn’t impacted Ed Czerwinski’s retail golfing business in Hyannis as it has the cash flow of municipal courses.

More than 130 golfers enjoyed play on September 18th at Rockville Links in Rockville Centre and the post-outing dinner paying tribute to Charles R. Joyce of Rockville Centre.
