Golf Tourney To Aid Cypress Elementary (The Suncoast News Pasco)

Because of recent statewide and national economic belt tightening, Cypress Elementary School is looking for a little extra help in educating its children.

    On September 12, the Mozingo Lake Golf Course was the target of a significant amount of vandalism to the facilities and property. The damaged equipment included golf carts and irrigation control boxes.

    Joe Malone, director of Wild Marsh Golf Course, went over long range plans for the course with the Buffalo City Council this week. The financial goal is getting over 30,000 rounds of golf annually, and to meet that goal the tee boxes need to be expanded and two new ones added.
