How to move a relationship forward quicker but without pressure.
ust met someone you like. She/he says she likes you. So how do you move that initial attraction forward so that it can become a solid relationship. Many 40/50's want to move slowly for various when there really is no reason to if they can determine whether they can move that move that budding relationship higher and deeper.

A well rounded relationship is of course based on friendship that comes from understanding and knowing the other person. So I'm thinking potential future couples need a questionaire to work through to help understand each other. Could be a few questions a day emailed back and forth or it could be one fine date with a couple bottle of wine. I like what Michael Webb has done with his 1000 Questions For Couples (see below). He also sends over 3 questions a day for 11 days that you can use to start and of course promote his book.

Here's the Day 1 questions.
Is it ever appropriate for someone to express anger in a physical way? If so, when and how?

If a fire destroyed your home and all of your belongings, what would you do? If you could take out three things before the blaze, what would they be? (Assuming there is no one in the house at the time of the fire.)

When you are sick and feeling poorly, do you like to be alone or do you like to be pampered and have someone close to your side most of the time?

Email one or more of these to a significant other today with your answer first and see the results.

I'm going to work on developing or adapting a short "getting to really know you questionnaire" that I'll post a link to sometime after personal testing. Real person, real interest, life is good!

So what's speed dating? Meeting 30 or 40 people or some such large number in an evening. Overload probably and doubts but like sales, good relationships and good dating are often just a numbers game. The more you talk to, the greater the chance you'll meet someone where there is mutual attaction.

Now dating in the dark. Centers around a dinner event in the dark. Happening in Manhattan now, says the announcer on Jazz Fm, one of my favorite Internet stations to work along with. Patrons enjoy a four course meal with wine but everything is in the dark. Only waiters wear night goggles, like our troops. You listen to the people around you only and then you can make a judgement on personality only. Nothing physical to cloud the judgement early.
