Another Book Gone From The Library (Cont'd)...Jim Morrison bio.
My Library says goodbye to No One Here Gets Out Alive, the biography of Jim Morrison of The Doors that I picked up recently.
This book just went out the door to a fine home in Ontario, Canadao.
No One Here Gets Out Alive . by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugerman, Warner Books, 1981. ISBN: 0446939218
Their music sounds as fresh today as it did in the early 70's when it took us all by storm. What a fantastic album debut they had. As popular today as when they first recorded.
Jim Morrison was the master of excess in his life. I noted the quote from Blake that poet Michael McClure used in the afterword; "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom"

More reviews of other useful music memorabilia books, vinyl, cd's and movies coming over the next. Suggest your favorites in the Comments or email to me.
Here's hoping the book will have a big impact at its new home. The Doors sure did on me.
