How do we get this blogger a great lady and get him out of the basement?
The perils of online dating. I saw this. He thought this was might get some attention. They think it shows he's too geeky and he's not getting any responses. How should he change it?
"So what do you do when you're not blogging," Ma said? Don't worry about the past and the stuff that didn't work out. Did you try hard?
How can I get you out of the basement now? Are you still interested in ladies? Are you just looking for a good time or are you willing to commit?
So many questions Ma, I said.
"Yes, I want a life away from the little screen, but what should I say to others now that it's time to to connect." Is there really a special person still out there at this point in my life?
"So what I might i say, Ma"?
"Well try this..be yourself, Ma said, and because you're my son, and you're not hard on the eyes, I say let them see that good looking face, but at the same time show her the values you live by and the fun you like to have."
"Ma, I said, "that last relationship of nearly 4 four years didn't quite qet to the getting hitched stage, but it wasn't for trying and it was great while it lasted. And it showed I was fully committed and a one woman man as I've always been."
"Strange things complicate mid life hookups. Should I even mention it" "Only if she asks about your past, son"
"Make sure you check whether she's loaded too, ok"
"Ma.... Bye, that's enough, geez, money, who cares..I'll live on love...I'm out of here. I gotta go look for my own place" "You've got me thinking maybe I'll be cooking breakfast for two sooner rather than later". Thanks Ma."
How will this story end ?"
What can the blogging community around the world do for him?
Update: He told me he may have connected/re-connected with the woman he can make happy blogging with and walk their puppies together, and she was right under his nose, so to speak, all along, he said.
