There's plenty going on …
The NBA and NHL have been holding their playoffs (congrats to the Stanley Cup champion Ducks) and we’ve been busy getting you video highlights of the games. But that’s not all we’ve been up to lately.
Fantasy Football just launched, with the following features:
- Drag-and-drop rosters: They’ll make setting up your lineup a breeze — that is, if you’re sure you know who you want to start.
- Co-managers: This is one my sister-in-law has wanted for awhile. Allows you to share your team with another account.
- League histories: A tool that will allow commissioners to link their previous leagues together to show off the dynasties and the teams that continually have to rebuild.
- More features are listed here … Of course, keep an eye out for our search for players to challenge our resident experts, Brandon Funston and Brad Evans.
Being mid-season in baseball doesn’t mean we’re taking a break. Fantasy Baseball has added starter flags to all positions. Need to know if your outfielder is taking the day off (shin splints perhaps?) so you can swap a bench player into his position? There’s a little flag in the “opponent” field now to signify if your player is starting or sitting. Lineups are usually official around 30 to 60 minutes before the game, so until that point, we don’t know either. But when a little ‘x’ appears in your player’s row, that means he’s not on the lineup.
Some have noticed that Mixed Martial Arts is sharing the boxing page now. The UFC is growing in popularity and we want to make sure we’re covering the fights you’re interested in. Follow the MMA with our new MMA/boxing writer Kevin Iole.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned for more site upgrades.
