The beginning of a beautiful friendship.

If you’re not too busy reading up, preparing for your Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football drafts that gotta happen soon, then you might have wandered over into our college football pages and wondered what are all those little r’s are doing all over the place.

Well, we’re happy to have just launched our first (of a series) of integrations with rivals.com content. You’ll find:

  • In our navigation bar, we’ve added various points of integration, highlighted by the Rivals little “r” logo (like team recruits, or depth charts).
  • On the NCAA league homepages, our experts modules now include several Rivals experts.
  • On the NCAA team pages, links to original Rivals content and their message boards.
  • We’ve included the Rivals team pages in our catalog of college teams.
  • Plus, you’ll start seeing Ashley Russell and her Rivals Minute exclusive video all over the place.

We’re very pleased to have the Rivals team join our family and even more pleased that we’re starting to show off their rich content and analysis and surfacing their rich community.

The buzz that Behrens stirred up.

One of our fantasy authors, Andy Behrens, stirred up a little interest a little while back, posting about drafting Chicago in the 5th round. Though he didn’t get as much flak as he expected, some on the Fantasy Football Cafe got wind of it and posted a rebuttal.

Thus was born the “How to lose your league” league. If you wanna track how well, Behrens is going to do against some of the public that said he’d lose his league by drafting a defense in the 5th round, we’ve opened up the league so you can follow along at home.

Or, if you wanna take your own shot at some of our experts, feel free to message us with your Yahoo! username and we’ll consider you for one of our fan leagues.

Fantasy Football Fan Leagues - sign up now!

Brandon Funston and Brad Evans are ready to defend their Fantasy Football titles. The baseball leagues are still interesting, but they’ve got football titles to defend. Plus, you’ve got the advantage of being able to update your lineups, while they are busy putting our Fantasy Football Live show on the air.

We’ve got a new routine now, because of some changes to protect your user IDs. Use this send message link to us to let us know you want to play. Make sure you include your Yahoo! username so that we can check out your profile and more importantly, invite you to the league. If you don’t include your username, you’ve got no chance of getting into the league.

We’ll collect and rank players over the next couple of weeks and then send out the invites. We’ll do the draft early September, so you can be as up to date as possible.
