It’s in the books: Georgia 64, MSU 60

Halftime: It’s tied at 33-apiece

Interesting half for both teams. I would have thought MSU would have been running and gunning it a little more and applying more pressure defense considering Georgia is playing for the second time today. I thought wrong.

Uh-Oh

The Sixers just got another big win against the Spurs - I hope Dannie is OK because there is a very real possibility his head exploded. If not - I have a crazy feeling he might just write a post about it.Screw the 6 seed,

The Sport Nut’s Wife — The Husband’s Take

Becky seems to think she’s come to this epiphany that she’s somehow morphed into a brand of sports nut. That some way, maybe by some strange form of osmosis, the fanaticism that rages inside of me has latched onto her.

Not the start MSU wanted

With 16:57 to play in the opening half, Georgia leads 10-2. I’ma little surprised Mississippi State isn’t pushing the ball up the court faster and pressuring more on defense. I mean, Georgia did play another game this morning.

Another fantastic finish

My goodness. What a great tournament. I don’t ever recall seeing so many close games in this event. This time, it was Arkansas winning on a shot by Steven Hill with 5.6 seconds left. Tennessee had a chance, but Chris Lofton’s shot at

In the stands at Alexander Memorial Coliseum

I’ve made it. A little different media row for the press in that we’re in the stands. It’s the norm here. And considering the circumstances, I’m not about to complain. Not that I would, because I actually like the setup.
